My First Ipsy Bag! December 2016

I have been on the Ipsy bag waitlist for about a year now. I finally got off earlier this month. I didn’t think I was going to get the December bag, so I was super suprised when it came in the mail! Since I didn’t know it was coming I had absolutely no spoilers! It was really fun opening it up and seeing what i got.

I’m sure most of you all know what Ipsy is, but for those of you who don’t It is a $10 monthly subscription bag. It comes with sample size (sometimes full size) beauty products, and of course a cute little bag to put them in! So here is what I got…….

Starting off with the bag itself. The theme of this bag was “Carpe P.M”, so they made the bag this fuzzy, bright pink Wristlet. I had already seen spoilers of it since my Ipsy came really close to the end of the month. I think it was an adorable Idea. I will probably give it to my little niece, so she can carry around her little toys and things.

Tarte Maracuja Oil

I always want to buy this whenever I go to Sephora or Ulta, so I was excited to see it in my glam bag.  I normally don’t like to use oils on my face because i find that most oils feel greasy on my face. I use beauty oils in my hair to make it shiny and soft. I was happy to receive a generous sample in my bag.

Mad Lash Mascara

I know a lot of people don’t like to receive mascara samples, but I love trying out new mascaras. I haven’t tried this mascara by The Balm yet, so I was happy to recieve this product in my bag as well.

Nailtini Eyeshadow in Firestarter

This eyeshadow is a gorgeous redish bronzy shade. I also believe that this is a full size product. I haven’t tried any of Nailtini’s cosmetics before so I am excited to try this as well. Definitely another hit.

Symphony Beauty Snow Cream Moisturizer

I have never heard of this brand before or used any of their products. This was kind of a weird product. I opened the pot and the mosturizer is a very strange spongy, putty like texture. Its also very thin and watery at the same time. I have sensitive skin and don’t like to experiment with skincare to much so the weird texture is kind of a turnoff.

Hikari Eyeliner in Iris

This was another full size product. It retails for $13, so it paid for the bag which is a pretty good deal. It is a Hikari eyeliner in purple. I like using eyeliners and trying new ones, but I don’t think purple eyeliner is for me. I didn’t open it, so I could pass it along to my cousin.

So what’s the verdict on my first Ipsy Glambag? I love it. I like that i get to try out all these different products from brands I have never tried or heard heard of before. Of course there are a few hits and misses, but if I wanted something specific I would go out and buy it. I wouldn’t look for it in a randomized subscription.

Although, I noticed that I only received eye products and skincare. I do wish I got some face or lip products. Maybe It will help if I go customize my Ipsy profile some more. Hopefully next time I will receive a lip color or cheek product. Either way I loved my first Ipsy bag!

Do you get Ipsy bags? What did you get this month? Since I got my bag so late, I’m sure most of you all have already gotten yours. Let me know what you like and didn’t like down in the comments!!

Talk to ya’ll later!

❤ Suhad
